Risk Of Loss
All items purchased from Organicbase.in are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Product Descriptions
Organicbase.in and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, Organicbase.in does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by Organicbase.in itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
Pricing
Except where noted otherwise, the List Price displayed for products on our website, whether in Foreign Currency or Indian Rupees represents the full price of the product and international shipping charges, unless specified otherwise in the Shipping Fees.
With respect to items sold on Organicbase.in, we charge your credit card before your order has entered the shipping process. For any reason if we are not able to ship you products as per your order, we will intimate you electronically and refund the value of the products not available. Any additional Shipping Fees, if applicable, will not be refunded.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalogue may be mispriced. If we discover a mispricing, we will do one of the following:
- If an item’s correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.
- If an item’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
Please note that this policy applies only to products sold and shipped by Organicbase.in.
Shipping
All of Organicbase orders are shipped door-to-door from our warehouse in Howrah, West Bengal, India to your provided shipping address via Our Delivery Partners. Processing the order normally takes 3 working days and then Shipping normally takes 4-6 working days.
Shipping destinations offered by organicbase.in for delivery will be extended and updated from time to time and listed online.
We do not ship backorders. We aim to keep every item on our website in stock. If there is an item which you purchase and then we realize this item is not available, we will promptly inform you within 2 working days of your purchase and fully refund your money for the out of stock item.
We can only process one shipping address per order. So, if you would like to order several items and ship to different people, please treat these as separate orders. We cannot ship to Post Office Box addresses and take no responsibility for non-delivery of orders in case the delivery address includes P. O. Box details in any part or form.
Our Delivery Partners will attempt delivery 2 times at the delivery address specified by you in the order, before they contact us that your package is not deliverable. You can track the package through the Order Tracking facility. If the package status is shown as undeliverable please call Our Delivery Partner’s Customer Service at their local number and quote your tracking number to trace your package.
Duties And Taxes
All of Organicbase orders are shipped internationally from our warehouse in Howrah, West Bengal, India to your provided shipping address via Our Delivery Partner. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The large majority of orders will not have to pay any additional fees. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, you will be responsible for paying these additional fees. To make your shopping experience as seamless as possible, we have arranged with Our Delivery Partner to customs clear your goods for you and deliver them to your doorstep. If you are presented with an invoice from Our Delivery Partner for import duties and taxes, you will have to pay Our Delivery Partner directly at the time of delivery. Organicbase takes no responsibility for non-delivery of orders in case such taxes and duties are not accepted and settled by the recipient at the delivery address and will not provide any refunds in such cases.
Exchanges, Returns And Refunds
Organicbase will replace the product free of cost if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason. Exchanges or returns must be made within 10 days (for Domestic Customers) and 30 days(for International Customers) of receiving your order. You will need to fill out a Returns and Exchanges form which is available on the website under Returns and Exchanges slab. Once we receive your paperwork and returned goods, we will ship your replacement free of cost or issue a refund for the cost of the goods to the original credit card depending on your preference. Shipping charges will not be refunded and customers are required to pay for the shipping costs to return the goods to our warehouse return address.
Sizing
The fit of our clothing depends on the cut, fabric and style of each garment. Some garments are designed to have a looser, relaxed fit and some garments are styled to be more fitted. Please review our sizing guide to select the size best suited to you.
Product Properties And Wash Care
All of Organicbase’s products are handcrafted using the finest natural fibres. The subtle variations in colour, texture and finish are intrinsic to hand made products. Our products involve crafts-based traditions of hand spinning, dying, weaving, wood block printing and embroidery. We use both vegetable dyes and commercial dyes with the goal of minimizing our impact on the environment while striving for the best colour properties. An irregular weave or print is not a defect – handloom by definition means uncertainty when it comes to uniformity.
Colours: We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colours of the products shown on this Web site. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
Reds and blues tend to run. Please always wash like colours together and dry inside out in the shade. Silks must only be dry cleaned.
